Atype

Atype project was born to show the different ways
for turning a simple flat letter into a 3D tactile model.
We were involved in this educational workshop for
the design festival SELECTE D that took place in Bilbao (Spain) in 2012. The aim was showing the possibilities
of papercraft by taking a simple Helvetica font type and adding volume, colour or pattern so each participant got
a unique sample.

The results became viral on social media as the people involved in the workshop had to promote their own creations.

As we said for promoting it “whatever you want to do,
it’s always possible in paper”.
